History:
Burakumin Was born to the Hetchricks family in the city of chaos. His family was well known for their inherited ability, the Darke Vigor. Any person who was born with Darke Vigor has no need for rest, nourishment, and will not fall in battle until slain.
When he was ten, his family sent him to be an overseer for a week in the slave pits. When there, he treated the slaves as still lesser then him, but with greater respect then his other overseers, granting them rewards like family visitations if they reached or exceeded their quota. When at the end of the week his Local Grand overseer interviewed him and asked him about this, he said " Even a dog deserves respect from his handler, for without the dog the handler has no work. Likewise, if the slaves were gone the city would collapse into ruins, to be quickly swept aside by the Trinity Citizens. The overseer was torn between his ability to exceed expectations and anger at this boy questioning his authority and his livelihood. He decided to send home a letter of recommendation that stated that he had good leadership ability and great ability to spur his underlings to greater ability and glory, but that his political ideas could later lead to trouble.
When this was presented to the Families matriarch during his audience with her, she saw great magical potential in him. She immediately purchased the services of a tutor in the schools of lightning and will. Over the next several years he trained in these abilities, completing the entire fifty year course for both schools in only ten.
The matriarch, who was extremely pleased with his progress, tasked him to next find a weapon that suited him. He had no aptitude with most conventional weapons, but he was very effective in the cattle gangs due to his aptitude with a whip. A whip, however, only stings and rarely kills, so instead he had his family's blacksmith slave forge him a n Spiked chain for a weapon, telling him that if the quality was great enough he would purchase the Blacksmith's freedom. the blacksmith labored for two months until he was sure that it was the finest piece of craftsmanship he had ever created. When he was finished he enlisted the help of Burak'ws tutor so that he would enhance the chain to be an excellent conductor for magic, allowing the wielder to use the weapon as an extension of his own body for the purpose of magic. When presented to Burak, the weapon was so light, so finely crafted, and so brutally edged, that Burak was overcome with joy at the sight of the weapon that he gave the blacksmith the money to free his entire family and grant them passage to wherever in the realm they desired.
Years later, during a training session with his favorite sibling, Hiso, they were training with wooden weapons when a particularly vicious blow from Burak smashed into Hiso's throat, crushing his windpipe instantly. Burak, who loved Hiso greater then all of his other siblings, was shocked, and as he fell to his knees next to Hiso's still-struggling form, he placed his hands over Hiso's throat in order to soothe his passing, and he felt a pain in his shoulders as if a rock had been dropped onto it. As a great bruise grew om Burak's shoulder, Hiso's body healed. his throat was re-inflated, and the pain went away. Burak immediately apologized for nearly killing his favorite sibling, but Hiso was more interested in what that ability Burak used was. For months afterward they searched the family library for any clues as to what it might be, when they eventually found the name within a codex stolen from the libraries in the city of Trinity. It was named Sacrifice, and was noted to be extremely rare, with less then fifty cases ever recorded. Both Hiso and Burak knew that if word got out that he had a power that was highly prized among the followers of trinity, he would be surely murdered.
Over the next twenty years Burak and Hiso both joined the guardsmen and Burak performed his duties with pride when able, and with shame all other times, although he kept this hidden from his fellow guardsmen. During his twenty third year in the Darke Mage guardsmen corp, there was an incident when a member of a house with greater status then his own was stabbed by a house servant during a parade that Burak was participating in. The nearest Darke Medic was ten minutes away, and this man would be dead in two. Knowing that he would be hunted for saving this man, he decided to accept the consequences and Sacrificed to save the man. Cuts began to spread across his body, nothing life-threatening but definitely harmful, as the wound in the noble faded fro his body. The crowd watched in awe as the nobleman stood up and looked at Burak with first awe, then realization, then outright revilement. "This man is a spy for the Trinity!" he bellowed, " Only a Trinity servant would use an ability so selfless that he is harmed in the process. Seize Him!" But Burak was ready, and before the accusation touched his ears he had ran down a back alleyway and to a checkpoint known to the guardsmen as being a place used by escaped slaves en route to leaving the Realm of Chaos entirely.
He pleaded to the master of the estate for shelter and passage to the realm of Trinity. The master, who was shocked at this extremely unlikely occurrence, agreed to take him in under the condition that he act as a guard for the caravan on it's way to safety. The caravan amazingly reached its destination without incident, and he took shelter within the city himself.
When the city guards met with him they wanted a complete debrief, everything from his name and former rank to why he defected from Chaos. When they heard about his Sacrifice they wanted confirmation, so the head guardsman at the debrief took his knife and cut the palm of his hand and asked Burak to heal it. Burak placed his hand upon the mans palm and felt a cut across his shoulder, and when he removed his hand the guardsman's hand was perfectly healed. A messenger was sent to the Mages immediately, and when he was fetched to meet the representative the people in the streets looked upon Burak in suspicion and awe, for he still wore some markings of he Chaos city Guardsmen. The Mages wanted demonstrations of his abilities, and when they learned his lineage and learned of his Darke Vigor, they knew they had a great man on their side.
They agreed to train him in the school of Detection free of charge, and they encouraged him to take any other training he desired. His training in the school of detection gave him an idea: if he can detect somebody's intentions, could he not also learn to cause pain to those with Chaotic intentions? When he discussed this with his fellow mages, many believed that it wasn't feasible, and the few who did believe it was possible didn't know where to begin. Burak decided to search the libraries of the Trinity city for any clues as to where to begin. After years of searching every library in the city, he decided to look in a book shop one morning in the spring for anything he could use. On a dusty shelf near the back he found an old tome entitled Fighting Shadows: How to change yourself into a Chaos Killer.
He purchased the book on the spot, brought the book to his study, and proceeded to digest the secrets within. Over the next ten years he learned all he could about this power, eventually learning that in order to fully obtain this power he would have to undergo a complex ritual only performable by masters of the school of physical improvements, and he would forever more would only be able to harm the person with his body in proportion to the weight of his evils. Burak figured that this is a small enough sacrifice to make, as nothing says that his weapons will strike according to this change.
He took all necessary preparations, then contacted Trinity's very finest master of the school of physical improvements and offered him what was left of his earnings after payment for his lodgings to have him perform the ritual for Burak. The Master surprised him, however, as he told Burak through correspondence that He will perform the ritual free of charge because he will gain the knowledge of the ritual, which he would have gladly paid double what Burak was offering to pay. They agreed to meet one month later, and as the master arrived the trees were bearing their leaves for the summer season. The ritual was performed immediately behind closed doors, and Burak was under Anesthesia the entire time. After the ritual, the master agreed to take a single swing from Burak to test the results. Burak threw a punch into the masters stomach with the full might of his strength, but when his fist punched the master the force of his blow seemed to reduce greatly, nd all Burak was able to do was make the man's stomach jiggle a little bit. Smiling with satisfaction, he thanked the man for his time, and after he left Burak officially joined the Mages.
About thirty five years later, the old leader of the mage corps, who was widely known to be a powerful and callous man, was assassinated by the forces of Chaos. The mages, knowing that they needed great strength, decided to convene in council to decide among themselves who would succeed the former trinity Head Mage. after several weeks of decision making, they decided through a very narrow vote to appoint Burakumin Hetchricks to the title of Trinity Head Mage. This was a very Controversial decision, as many mages believed that Burak might defect back to Chaos if he believed he could gain power from it. Since that day Burakumin has been training the Mage corps for the inevitable conflict with Chaos, and has just recently been teaching some exceptional students in the school of Chaos Slaying, as he calls it.
now he keeps Drossel Ring on his back to attack his eneme with the power of will. Burak trains night and day never stopping
